Earthlings
Earthlings is a 23/24 collection by a Basel based, British – Indonesian fashion designer, Jacqueline Loekito. Earthlings collection was created to present the designer’s cultural background by combining many of its’ aspects such as: traditional patterns, flowers, and colours with a contemporary twist that reflects the global identity. It is a testament to the fact that while our origins might shape us, they don’t confine us. In today’s world, where divisions often seem more apparent than connections, Jacqueline Loekito’s brand message is a poignant reminder that we are indeed, all “Earthlings”. While we might all came from different places, at the end of the day, we are all inhabitants of the same planet, seeking connection, meaning, and a place to call home.
For this collection, I created the new JL logo, Earthlings collection logo, tartan patterns for the clothings, 3D of the Earthling lady, and 3D of alienated flower for the show.
The collection was showcased in Kunsthalle Basel, 11.11.2023.
The mediums used waere digital (Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Nomad 3D, and Blender) and mixed media for the alienated flower.
